Last week the Westone Music team was in Nashville for GMA Music Week and the 40th Annual Dove Awards. The first few days of the week (GMA Music Week) is a time for industry heavyweights to get together, new artists to be shopping their music and Indies to learn more about the industry. We were on hand connecting with several of our artists and friends, showing off the new UM3X and introducing new artists to Westone Music. The week is packed with nightly artist/label showcases, so sleep is optional throughout the week.
On Thursday we did something a little different. We made arrangements to have a media "booth" (AKA 12x12 area with tall, heavy curtins) so that we could get interviews with our artists as they were coming off stage from either winning an awards, presenting an award, or playing live. Reason for this is that this is Westone's 50th and were letting our artist know, they were more than willing to say kind words about Westone or a "Happy Anniversary!" We'll be posting these interviews in the near future. We also got some pics of our artists and their awards. Check the Photo Album for those!
