Bio: 7x US National Cyclocross Champion, 3x US Shorttrack MTB Champion, 3x Cyclocross World Championship medalist, 3x Medalist 2004 Paralympic Games Tandem pilot. Current World Number 1 ranked Cyclocross rider. The most successful American in the sport of Cyclocross. 

Katie spends her time outside of bike racing with her husband/mechanic/training partner, Mark Legg and her tripod Rottweiler, Pixie. Pixie is a three year old rescue from the Denver area who loves to play fetch with a rubber ball and loves to run up the Barr trail with Mark while Katie runs the Incline in Manitou Springs. Mark and Katie are rabid Formula 1 fans and maintain their passion for fast cars with track days with their BMW 1M Coupe.
Katie loves the versatility of her Westone 4’s and Westone Customs. The noise cancelling feature of the Westone 4’s are especially appreciated on the many trans-atlantic flights Katie makes all year. Katie uses the Westone 4’s to listen music during the long hours she spends in the air and sometimes she unplugs the headphones from her iPod for the sound canceling qualities of the Westone 4’s to protect her ears from the white-noise of the plane.
